Great article but to me to be perfectly honest the pants do not look that comfortable to wear but I guess if you are going "period" correct then you need that look.
I disagree! I look at that waist seam, an inch ABOVE the natural waist, and breathe a sigh of relief. Not only in comparison to my own jeans, which make me feel like an overstuffed sausage with her waistband somewhere around her crotch, but thinking of all those gentlemen who walk around nowadays with their waistbands uncomfortably failing to hold their overhanging bellies up! Oh, for the days of high waists!
