I looked at the sources a little more in depth, thank you for the references to the embroidery techniques. I already weave small projects, I feel like tablet weaving may be right up my alley!

I really like this! I haven't really looked at this era before, indeed thinking it would be boring, but I love embroidery and this looks very classy and beautiful. I may have to make me one of these now..thanks for the article!
